Majority of Scots are drinking responsibly

You have to admire some of the people behind news like this and the stuff they come out with.

Research which produces statistics can clearly be of great value in describing aspects of all areas of life - and can be used to develop a rounded vision of our society BUT, well, it has to be said:

Did ANYONE - SERIOUSLY - ANYONE - EVER - before this research was done - EVER - think that the MAJORITY of Scots drink irresponsibly?

The answer is: NO.

So what does that make this work become? A valuable insight into what we know collectively about the Scots? It's about as informative as the Hackney Gazette headline of thirty years ago announcing: "POPE NOT TO VISIT HACKNEY"

Sensational, meaningless, stupid but fun.
