Back our pubs and reap the rewards
Why is the Government discriminating against pubs? asks chief executive of Enterprise Inns, Ted Tuppen.

Yes Stephen. WHAT THE HELL DOES TUPPEN THINK HE'S ON ABOUT?

Unbelieveable brass neck from Tuppen as usual. He 'believes many pubs could go under without a suitable level of support from the Government' ? Huh? Can we believe this? Brigid Simmonds has persuaded Ed Davey and Vince Cable to do a U turn, eat their words, back track, break all their shallow promises, dance with the devil, tryst with Beelzebub, sell all tied publicans down the Swanee and recommend 'self regulation' that's akin to asking Wolves to look after sheep as if they were highly trained and well fed Border Collies.

AND STILL IT'S NOT ENOUGH FOR TEDDY BOY TUPPEN.

Tuppen doesn't just want his cake and to eat it. He doesn't just expect the government to stay hands off and leave the Tie untouched so the bullies in the tuckshop can carry on stealing all the sweeties the kiddies pay for, he wants government to actually pile in and bail out his thousands of failing pub business too. Just think of the headlines -

"Private equity asset strippers bailed out as Government tries to save distressed community assets all over the UK"...

'The normally hands-off laissez faire Government intervenes in tied pub market because self serving CEO reckons pubs need taxpayers' cash to save them from ravages of economic downturn brought about by retail beer prices in his estate being too high because the landlord charges double the wholesale price for beer than Wetherspoon's manage to sell it over the bar'.
