Tied pubs closing at almost twice the rate of free-of-tie

Patrick you are wrong.

CAMRA do not come a narrow, biased viewpoint. In fact CAMRA have a remarkably sophisticated grasp of what is happening to the pub industry - which is why they have been so intellectually critical of pubcos.

Tied pubs cost more to run than free of tie pubs - because they are over rented and more run down and they pay double what free of tie pubs do for their beer. And they do NOT get support from their pubco where Free pubs generally do.
