Punch licensees share pub business ideas

One idea would be to buy the freehold, get rid of Punch and have a clear shot at running a business without a bunch of total losers dragging them down. Problem would be where to raise the money they will need to invest in their businesses to catch up on the twenty years of under investment, dilapidations and shoddy repairs left in the wake of Punch's tenure.
