All this chit chat is so tedious. Fact is that pubcos charge too much for rent and double the amount for beer they ought and by and large pretend to be oblivious to the reasons why their estates are folding like a deck of cards in a gale. They blame the tenants.

They all deny reality well, actually, Punch have noticed something was up and is hoping to flog off a third of its estate - the tied lease pubs that are bwing blown away by reality - and is investing heavily in developing its managed estate - you know, the bit that makes money. Look out for them squeezing the brilliant tenants they have left until they've been bled dry too.
