Brigid Simmonds, like her predecessors in British Beer & Pub Association La La Land, comes out with some gems.

"It's not us guv, it's the Gov guv".

Nothing to do with the fact that her pubco paymasters charge DOUBLE for beer what the real world does, making it impossible for the thousands of pubs they 'own' to make a living profit margin out of the beer they sell.

She ought to be saying: "Beer and pubs are vital for the economy - of our board rooms and the lining of our Bondholders pockets".
