WE are all unpaid tax collectors beaten with a financial stick when cash flow tightens. Beaten financially from all sides. If Helen's been banging on about this fir years it seems the EU listened while the idea fell on deaf ears in the UK.

Successive governments obviously too intent on licking bankers' backsides to listen to sensible ideas about sectors that actually are productive for society...
