Well, Let's call you Vince, No there's not a lot of point in having a minister for pubs if you consider the length of time said post is likely to be in existence. But at least it's a start. And if said minister were well briefed he / she wouldn't need to meet BBPA, Punch, Enterprise et al except to ask how they expect the minister to let them off the hook they impaled themselves on.
