CGA: more than 50 pubs a week now closing

Information is everything. On where the figures come from one must assume that CGA has a dialogue with pub companies and pub landlords, tied or otherwise, and complie the information from them; then, surely, there must be an element of extrapolation,

No one else appears able to gather information about closures, let alone churn, and this is part of the set up of the industry. No one can get an accurate global view because that situation suits the pubcos.

The auspices of 'Commercial sensitivity' can conveniently hide many ills.
