That's what led to the situation where pubs literally can't afford to broadcast football anymore.

Deregulation and competition is supposed to create a market where prices are lower and consumers have more choice. Great vision stupid reality. What a lot of old bullocks.

Er what was it that led to the tied pubco system that serves everyone so well now? Ah yes, the spirit of greater competition through dilution of power and monopoly of brewers. That worked too didn't it.
