Young's top manager to boost London pub

http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/Pub-Chef/Young-s-top-manager-to-boost-London-pub

It should be noted that as Young's divests itself of non core business pubs - i.e. those that have been on tenancies and aren't part of the trendy managed profile they are building since they ceased to be what they started out as: BREWERS, Young's have become part of the pubco blight on the British landscape.

They are taking advantage of the almost useless planning legislation in the UK that offers no protection to viable pubs if their land value is greater than their business worth and are, in large numbers, now selling off currently trading pubs to property developers in back room deals, maximising the amount they can get for the bricks and mortar without any regard to the communities they serve or the publicans who run them.

Young's. A pathetic shadow of their former selves.
