BBC to film pubco protest

Clearly the point of marching is to draw attention to the fact that pubs all over the UK are on their knees. The march is organised by tied lessees to raise the plight of tied lessees but surely it's not exclusively about one issue - there are many factors adversely affecting the industry.

The underlying weakness of the entire pub sector is flagrant abuse of the supply tie. All other adverse economic external factors are straws that are breaking the camel's legs. The back will be broken when the big bad pubcos collapse as the legs give way.
