Pubcos accused of providing misleading evidence to MPs

I believe the term is 'positive falsehoods'.

There is no doubt now that it is time for pubcos bosses to take stock of their positions and begin to clear their desks to make way for more capable people with a broader vision to take over the helm.

The way they have implemented and manipulated the tie and abused their position of power in business has been utterly discredited as a failing business model. Even their honesty and motivation has been brought into question, giving their boards serious grounds for demands for resignation.
