Mulholland: new beer orders needed

Mr Mulholland the BEC report is an extraordinary victory for fairness and justice and you should be proud for having championed the cause so vociferously. Many, many people are heartened and satisfied by what's happened today, even though this is only a beginning. The pubcos are already proving by their public reactions to the BEC report that they are in utter denial of their guilt for the demise of pubs across the UK.

New beer orders ARE needed but radically different from twenty years ago; implemented with the benefit of hindsight and a much deeper understanding of the pub trade. And there must be stringent punitive measures in place to deal with errant CEOs of corporations who refuse to take responsibility for the damage their poor quality decisions can wreak on society.
