Just thought I'd mention that Coors would sell me beer at £170 per barrel discount if I were free of tie. Which kind of on its own blows the arguments pro tie out of the water. What 'generous discount' do I get from S&NPE £42.24 for absolutely nothing - sweetbugger all - in return as countervailing benefit?

Oh and by the way Waverley's TBS offered the same beers as S&NPE at £140 per barrel discount (they are part of S&NPlc, as are S&NPE). Both quotes were based on true barrelage without any horse trading or hard bargaining.
